Marina Atarazanas Hotel Location
The hotel is located about 15 minutes’ walk to the beach and very close to the port for the America’s Cup. It sits in a beautiful little square, Tribunal De Las Aguas, full of lovely period buildings. The square also contains an old Spanish church, a small garden with palm trees, a fish and cheese market and the Reales Atarazanas, which houses a Naval museum. The Reales Atarazanas dates from the 14th century. The hotel is also close to banks and cafes etc, as well as 10 minutes’ drive to the old town (easily accessible by bus) and 20 minutes’ walk to the City of Arts and Sciences.

Marina Atarazanas Hotel Description
Built in 2004, the Marina Atarazanas Hotel is designed in a very unusual, ‘avant garde’ style, featuring funky-darkened chrome and an almost industrial style lobby with original art, bright colours and cement floors. A breakfast area, small bar and restaurant lead off from the lobby. The roof terrace has a great 360-degree view of the port and beach.

Very nice location but a good 15 minutes walk from beach and other than that area there are not many other places to get food in the area.
the hotel has a restuarant but we did not try it so not sure it was even open. The sauna was good but the jacuzi was not on and had not been cleaned out. But no shortage of towels. The roof bar was not open but that could have been time of year but a pity as it had a great view.
Rooms very modern but nice and I loved the electric blinds plus the airconditioning worked well.
The breakfast was good with everything that we liked but only continental so no good for anyone expecting English.
New tram stop only 5 minutes away which goes to the airport and very close to the train station which is very close to the centre of Valencia. Excellent. There is also a no19 bus that goes to same place for 1.25 euro.
Top Tip
Good paella at the La Pepina but they get very busy and where not very polite to people waiting for tables also the restuarant next to it was very good but none of them seem to open until about 9pm a little late for some people.
